AK asbl

AK asbl (Achen Kikassa asbl, derived from the name of its founders) is a non-profit organization under Belgian law, whose constitution and statutes were published in the Moniteur Belge on November 18, 2008.

The main objective is to educate a large number of children in rural areas around the city of Kisangani in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Logo AK asbl :

The colors of the frame and dome refer to those of the land of Kisangani during both seasons, rainy and dry period. The blue represents the hope of a better future.

The frame itself expresses the will to stay within the associations ste objectives, which are humanitarian, social and educational.

The dome above the words AK asbl is the symbol of protection and viability of our association by all members of whom we call the "AK family asbl".

The blue star is the symbol of hope, also on the flag of the DRC.
